Provide potable water service reliability for eastern Dublin and Dougherty Valley by constructing the following: approximately 6,500 linear feet of 20–inch Zone 3 potable water main on Tassajara Road from Windemere Parkway to Fallon Road; 1.5 million gallon water storage reservoir; and, 4.71 million gallons per day pump station.

Pump Station Improvements in Pressure Zones 2 and 3 |
The Notice Inviting Bids for the Pump Station Improvements in Zones 2 & 3 Project (CIP 06-6101) will be advertised on Friday, March 21, 2008.
- Bid documents may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $65 from Studio Blue Reprographics, 7132-A Johnson Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588. Phone (925) 463-9660.
- Bids are due to the District Office by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
- The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $1,730,000.
- The pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at the District Office.
- The Project Manager is Rudy Portugal, DSRSD.

Located half a mile beyond the current western end of Dublin Blvd, this 800 gallons-per-minute pump station and 700,000 gallon reservoir will provide potable water service to meet the development needs in western Dublin. The potable water pump station, water reservoir, and associated appurtenances will be designed and constructed for Pressure Zone 4 (which serves the highest level in our service area, between 740 and 1,000 feet above sea level) in Schaefer Ranch.

  | Relief Sewer on Dublin Blvd –– $2,655,000 total estimated cost |
In order to relieve current maintenance deficiencies in the existing sewer main in Dublin Boulevard from Hansen Drive to Interstate 680 and provide additional capacity for future developments approved by the City of Dublin in western Dublin (e.g., Schaefer Ranch and West Dublin BART Station). The District will design and replace 4,640 feet of existing 8–inch and 10–inch sanitary sewer mains with new 12–inch sanitary sewer main in Dublin Blvd from Interstate 680 to Hansen Drive and install 1,160 feet of new 12–inch sanitary sewer main in Dublin Blvd from Hansen Drive to Silvergate Drive.

Improve the pipe integrity and safety of the Alamo Creek flood control channel where a portion of the 36–inch trunk sewer which crosses Alamo Creek is currently exposed (above the surface) and prevent further hydrogen sulfide corrosion to the adjacent upstream and downstream segments of the sewer trunk main.
