Backflow Fee

The District charges a $12.50 bimonthly administration fee to non-residential customers that are required to install backflow prevention devices. The District’s Backflow Prevention Program protects the public water system from backflow contamination. The District ensures that backflow devices on irrigation, fire, and water systems in commercial and industrial buildings are tested and in good working order. We comply with all Department of Public Health regulations and submit required reports.

BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE TESTING

Dublin San Ramon Services District’s Backflow/Cross Connection Program requires all backflow prevention devices within the District’s service area to be properly maintained and tested by an AWWA-Certified Backflow Prevention Tester at least annually or more frequently as deemed necessary. If you are a current AWWA-Certified Backflow Prevention Tester and would like to be added to the District’s Backflow Tester List, please complete the form below and fax it along with a copy of your AWWA Certificate and wallet card to (925) 462-0658, Attention: Beth Freeland; or you can mail it to 7399 Johnson Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94588.
