DERWA (Recycled Water Project)

DERWA (DSRSD-EBMUD Recycled Water Authority) is a Joint Powers Authority that was formed in 1995 between DSRSD and EBMUD. DERWA's mission is to provide safe, reliable, and consistent supply of recycled water, and to maximize the amount of recycled water delivered. Currently DERWA's San Ramon Valley Recycled Water Program (SRVRWP) isl providing recycled water to commercial customers in Dublin, San Ramon, and Dougherty Valley.

The District is committed to suppliment its potable water supplies by supplying recycled water to commercial customers for landscape irrigation purposes to supplement its potable water supplies. Through DERWA, the District is developing the infrastructure to supply recycled water to central Dublin, southern San Ramon and additional sites in Dougherty Valley.

For more information, please read the Recycled Water Quality Annual Report or visit the SRVRWP web site located at www.DERWA.org.
