If your water consumption is over the household average of 30 units (one unit = 748 gallons) every two months,
you not only pay for more water - but at a higher rate.
An average of 38-50% of residential water consumption is used to irrigate landscaping.

We have kept our rates low despite inflation. Water is still a good value.
