If your water consumption is over the household average of 30 units (one unit = 748 gallons) every two months, you not only pay for more water - but at a higher rate.An average of 38-50% of residential water consumption is used to irrigate landscaping.

A HISTORY OF DSRSD RATES 1984-2007
Note that our water rates are almost low as they were in 1984. How much have your rates increased for electricity? telephone? cable tv? We have kept our rates low despite inflation. Water is still a good value.
