sculputural glass awardDublin San Ramon Services District received the Achievement in Information Technology Practices award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC). The award recognizes local government agencies that meet or surpass government standards for information technology. DSRSD is one of 28 public agencies to receive a MISAC Achievement or Excellence Award in 2017.

To be considered for the awards, an agency must submit a detailed questionnaire and supporting documentation covering 10 aspects of IT management and practices, including budget and strategic planning, project management, security, and disaster recovery. The process is equivalent to a complete audit of IT operations. A panel of three IT directors from other MISAC member agencies evaluated each applicant based on industry standards and best practices.

MISAC represents more than 300 local governments in California, including special districts such as DSRSD as well as cities and towns.
