DSRSD Board Supports Proposition 3 Water Bond
$8.9 Billion for California Water Infrastructure
If approved by the voters, the Water Supply and Water Quality Act of 2018 will invest $8.9 billion in California water infrastructure, including the following: safe drinking water, sustainable groundwater management implementation, watershed restoration, fish and wildlife habitat conservation, and infrastructure repair. This bill will benefit individual water users, the environment, and agriculture. With support from across the board (92 conservation groups, 18 agricultural organizations, 11 environmental justice groups, 73 water agencies, 26 local governments, 88 businesses) this balanced water bond will improve water supplies for every part of the state and provide some much-needed investment in California’s sustainable water future. The Dublin San Ramon Services District Board of Directors supports Proposition 3. Vote on November 6.
