DUBLIN, Calif. (November 12, 2018) – The Dublin San Ramon Services District Office at 7051 Dublin Blvd. is temporarily closed for one to three months, due to a water leak caused by an underground fire line break that flooded the building with an inch of water and mud.
Customers can pay their bills online or by placing their payments in the drop box located outside the District Office in the west parking lot. Customer Service representatives are already working and able to answer calls regarding billing and construction meters at 925-828-8524.
The District was alerted at 2 p.m. Sunday that a passerby saw water coming out of the office building. DSRSD staff surveyed the damage and by 4 p.m. Restoration Management Company arrived and began cleaning out the water and mud. Fire line service is currently unavailable at the building, which means it is not usable. The District is temporarily relocating 52 staff to the Field Operations and Regional Wastewater Treatment Facilities in Pleasanton. The DSRSD Board of Directors meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 20 will occur at another location within the District’s service area that is yet to be determined.
“Thank you to all our staff for working creativity and innovatively during this incident to keep the District operating at a fully functional level,” General Manager Dan McIntyre said. “Restoration staff are working hard to get the building cleaned up so we can move back in as soon as possible.”
