Notice of Exemption: Electrical Service to Reservoir 200B
Description of Nature and Purpose of Project
The Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) will install underground conduits and electrical circuits for permanent Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) power to Reservoir 200B, which currently has a solar array and batteries to power the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. After prolonged periods of fog or clouds, the system becomes unreliable. The Electrical Service to Reservoir 200B project will provide permanent PG&E power to the reservoir to address the power reliability issue. The project includes installation of approximately 250 feet of conduit and secondary cables within Rosamund Drive (which will be transferred to PG&E to maintain upon completion of the project) and approximately 1,150 feet of secondary power within existing DSRSD-owned conduits in DSRSD's reservoir access road. The PG&E meter pedestal will be located at the bottom of the reservoir access road within existing easements. The site will be restored once construction is completed.
The Notice of Exemption was filed with Contra Costa County on Oct. 8, 2019.
