DSRSD Swears in the Three Boardmembers Following Nov 2024 Election

Dublin, Calif. (December 19, 2024) – At a ceremony held prior to the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Tuesday, December 17, Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) swore in three Boardmembers who were re-elected to the Board during the November 2024 election: Dinesh Govindarao (Division 1), Rich Halket (Division 3), and Arun Goel (Division 5). The three Boardmembers will serve four-year terms from December 2024 to December 2028.
Govindarao, a San Ramon resident, was first appointed to the DSRSD Board in 2023 to fill a vacant position. He serves as a Chief Medical Officer for a state agency and holds a master’s degree in public health. Halket, a Dublin resident, has served on the Board since 2004. He is a finance and human resources executive with experience in accounting and holds a master’s degree in hydrogeology. Goel, a Dublin resident, was first appointed to the Board in 2021 and then elected in 2022. He is a civil engineer and holds a master’s degree in engineering with a focus on hydrology / hydraulics.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Board opened its meeting with the selection of its president and vice president for the 2025 calendar year: Director Arun Goel was selected as DSRSD Board President and Director Rich Halket as DSRSD Board Vice President. This is Director Goel’s first term as Board President and Director Halket’s fifth term as Board Vice President. The two will serve in these positions until December 2025.
