Elected Positions
DSRSD Director
As part of a five-member Board, Director Georgean Vonheeder-Leopold helps set policies, appoints officers, and hires/oversees the District's General Manager. Board Members are elected directly by constituents of DSRSD and are ultimately responsible and accountable to people of the District. Director Vonheeder-Leopold also represents DSRSD with partner groups and membership associations.

Engineering/GIS Technician II
The Engineering/GIS Technician II implements and maintains the geographic information system, assists in proposed development projects, and provides technical assistance at the Permit Counter. Senior Engineer (CIP & Planning)
Senior Engineers in the CIP and Planning Division provide direction and leadership for the District’s planning and capital improvement functions. This mid‑management position is responsible for developing short‑ and long‑term plans, establishing and implementing policies and procedures that guide the Division’s programs, and overseeing staff to ensure effective execution of work. Senior Engineers lead the development of master plans, manage the delivery of capital improvement projects, and coordinate with other divisions and external agencies to support District goals and interagency initiatives. They also provide high‑level technical guidance to ensure the successful planning and implementation of District projects.

Senior Engineer (Development & Construction Services)
Senior Engineers overseeing the Development and Construction Services Division handle design review, permitting and inspection services. This involves reviewing plans for developments, inspecting active construction sites during installation, and overseeing any building improvements that might impact use of water or sewer pipelines. Senior Engineers also coordinate with municipalities, such as the Cities of Dublin, San Ramon and Pleasanton, as well as other agencies and authorities, such as DSRSD-EBMUD Recycled Water Authority (DERWA), Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency (LAVWMA), Dublin Unified School District, and Zone 7 Water Agency. The position requires a lot of coordinating, communication and keeping District standards updated.

Senior Instrumentation & Controls Technician
The Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician helps keep DSRSD’s treatment plants and facilities running by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving complex control and automation systems. This includes installing and calibrating sensors, analyzers, and equipment so DSRSD can collect accurate data and operate processes reliably. The Senior I&C Technician also works with outside vendors to review equipment and solve technical problems, and partners closely with other DSRSD staff to support projects and ensure consistent, safe plant operations.
