Environmental Review (CEQA)
CEQA, which stands for the California Environmental Quality Act, is a state law created in 1970. The basic goals of CEQA are to inform decision-makers and the public about potentially significant environmental impacts, identify the ways that environmental damage can be avoided or reduced, and disclose to the public the reasons why decisions are made if significant impacts occur.
Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) reviews its projects for potential environmental impacts, such as air quality, visual aesthetics, and noise. DSRSD completes CEQA for all public works projects. The CEQA process involves DSRSD decision-makers and various stakeholders, including the public.
