Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP)

UWMPs help water suppliers assess the availability and reliability of their water supplies and current and projected water use to help ensure reliable water service under different conditions. The Urban Water Management Planning Act requires larger water suppliers that serve urban users to develop UWMPs every 5 years.

Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP)

WSCPs are strategic plans designed to help water suppliers prepare for and respond to water shortages resulting from drought, regulatory action, emergencies, or other events. WSCPs include defined actions to reduce demand over six shortage condition levels, from 10% to more than 50% demand reductions.

Alternative Water Supply Study

Dublin San Ramon Services District completed an Alternative Water Supply Study to identify conceptual alternatives for improving long-term water supply reliability. The study was driven by the District’s desire to reduce dependence on imported water supply from the Delta.

Tri-Valley Water Policy Roundtable: Potable Reuse Project

Dublin San Ramon Services District partnered with other Tri-Valley water agencies to create a detailed study of potable reuse. The primary goal of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a wide range of potable reuse options for the Tri-Valley based on technical, financial, and regulatory considerations.

Tri-Valley Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

Local hazard mitigation is the process of identifying natural hazards, like earthquakes or fires, and reducing their impacts on the local population. The Cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin San Ramon Services District partnered to establish the Tri-Valley Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. The Plan identifies natural hazards that could impact the Tri-Valley region and establishes policies to mitigate each hazard.
