Georgean M. Vonheeder-Leopold began her service at the District with an appointment in January 1992 to fill a vacancy and was subsequently elected, reelected, and reappointed to the Board multiple times.
Director Vonheeder-Leopold is the special district alternate member of the Alameda Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) and historian for the City of Dublin. Active in public service for more than 35 years, she was a member of the Dublin City Council from 1984 to 1990 and has served on various city and county commissions as well as a host of nonprofit boards.
She also serves as Vice President for Alameda County Chapter of the California Special Districts Association.
Director Vonheeder-Leopold has lived in Dublin since 1971 and recently retired from a 45-year career in tax accounting.
