DSRSD is offering a free, four-session virtual course on our community’s water, wastewater, and recycled water.
- Understand the critical issues on water being debated today.
- Engage with experts and other citizens who care about water.
- Equip yourself to lead the discussion as our community builds a more resilient water supply, adapts to a changing environment, and invests in vital infrastructure.
- Learn what it's like to serve on the DSRSD Board of Directors (map with election divisions and dates).
When: Wednesday evenings 7 to 8:30 p.m.: June 10, 17, 24, and July 1
Participants are expected to attend all four virtual sessions.
Where: On your computer or tablet, with internet access, using free downloadable Webex video conference software (system requirements).
Eligibility: Citizens Water Academy is open to current DSRSD water and sewer customers who want to learn about critical issues and projects related to water, wastewater, and recycled water. We especially encourage those who may be interested in running for a seat on the DSRSD Board of Directors. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
How to apply: Submit the Citizens Water Academy Application by May 31, 2020. We will confirm your acceptance by email.
