DSRSD's Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, located at 7399 Johnson Dr, Pleasanton, is an industrial environment and includes stairs, tripping hazards, and uneven surfaces. If you require special accommodations, please note this on your tour request form so we can discuss how to best accommodate those needs.
Quarterly Public Tour
90-minute public tours are held in February, May, August, and November. The next public tour will be held on Thursday, February 12 at 1:00 p.m. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

Special Group Tours
Special tours can be scheduled for groups of six or more if staff is available and construction projects allow. Special tours must be scheduled a minimum of three weeks in advance. We try to accommodate the needs, interests, and ages of our visitors.
For student groups, one adult chaperone is required for every seven students - students must be in 4th through 12th grade (10-18 years old).

Safety Information: Guests must wear a full shoe that covers the whole foot – sturdy walking shoes, athletic shoes, or flats. Do not wear sandals, heels, open-toe or open-heel shoes. Please dress appropriately to walk, climb steps, and be outside in the sun, rain, or wind. The tour involves at least an hour of walking and standing. Children must be in 4th grade or higher (age 10) to participate in the tour. All minors must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
