DSRSD Celebrates National Public Works Week

DUBLIN, CA (May 15, 2025) – From May 17 to May 23, Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) is joining thousands of communities across the country in celebration of National Public Works Week, an annual recognition of the professionals who design, operate, and maintain the infrastructure known as “public works.” This year’s theme, “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community,” highlights highly visible work, such as building and maintaining roads, bridges, and public facilities, as well as other vital contributions, like ensuring reliable water and wastewater services, which remains mostly behind the scenes. Regardless of their visibility, all public works innovations help communities flourish as places where people can live purposeful, fulfilling lives.

DSRSD will celebrate National Public Works Week by showcasing the District’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) truck – used to inspect wastewater collection pipelines – at “Truck Time San Ramon” on May 16 (www.trucktimesanramon.org). Additionally, profiles of DSRSD staff will be shared throughout the week on the District’s website and social media pages, providing the community with a deeper understanding of the people behind these critical services.
